Purchasing Manager (Saint Louis, MO)

Develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with company’s short and long terms goals and budget.

Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers and individual sellers.

Negotiate purchase prices, terms, and delivery schedules for books to optimize costs and inventory levels.

Monitor inventory levels and develop forecasts based on sales data and market trends.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential sources for acquiring goods.

24 months experience in the job or as a General Manager;

Inventory & Catalog Specialist (Saint Louis, MO)

Oversee the organization, classification, and digital cataloging of all incoming and outgoing books.Ensure inventory accuracy by performing regular stock audits and maintaining detailed records in our database.Collaborate with the purchasing and sales teams to optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.Prepare and upload book listings with accurate descriptions, pricing, and condition notes for our online and wholesale channels.Research and implement best practices in catalog management, staying up-to-date with industry standards and new technologies. Support the marketing team by providing data on high-demand or trending titles.
